At Skippers Ticket Training WA you can be assured that the course is run exactly as it should be. Quick and fast is not our priority. We go beyond the basic minimum requirement. It’s our mission to pass on as much as we can to our customers. Training should be fun, interesting and conducted in a relaxed, yet professional environment.
Our goal is to provide quality training. We’re not a production line, and we don't run 90 minute courses for novices! We don't expect you to read a book or watch a DVD and understand everything, so the course typically takes half a day because your safety is our priority. We don't read the book back to you, so our theory sessions cover areas that aren't in the book and come from years of experience. We only charge you if you pass and spend as much time as necessary to ensure you get more than just the basic requirement.
If you want an RST we can provide everything you need and more.
Skippers Ticket Training WA is also committed to supporting our customers once they have completed the course, so there’s always assistance available once you have your RST. We're just a phone call away if you need advice. We are the only school to offer Free Refresher Courses and Free Boat Lessons to our previous customers after they pass the course (conditions apply) and we recognise that navigating around Perth can be daunting for some so help in the form of supervised journeys to Rottnest Island and the Swan River is also available. The services we provide also include processing exemptions for equivalent interstate or overseas boat qualifications...
and, lastly, we specialise in advanced boat handling for owners of larger vessels of any size.
Don't believe the false and misleading information from a Boat School in Perth! Skippers Ticket Training WA and all assessors in WA are authorised by the Department of Transport (DoT) to provide Training and Assessment for the RST.
We are also the preferred training partner in WA for Sea School International (registered in NSW, RTO No. 91732). We are fully accredited with AMSA to conduct all of these commercial courses. Carl's AMSA assessor number is SSI 0012.
Feel free to call Michael Cooper the owner of Sea School International on 1300 666 416 or Dept. of Transport RST hotline on 1300 863 308 or AMSA directly if you would like to confirm this.
We are one of the few schools in WA to have a perfect audit record.
