SKIPPERS TICKET

WHAT TO BRING

When you arrive you will be required to complete the Department of Transport paperwork. For this you will require ID, need to make a medical/eyesight declaration and provide a parent/guardian consent form if you are under 18 years of age.

Please read the information in your Workbook regarding this in Chapter 1 on pages 5 to 7 (see 'Useful Links' on the right hand side).  If you do not provide the necessary ID or forms on the day you will not be eligible to start the course that day.

If you can produce a current valid Australian Driver's licence or Learner's Permit with photo ID, this is all you may need, an eyesight test is not required.

If you cannot produce these you will need to provide other forms of ID and you will need an eyesight test before the course. You will also need to complete a medical declaration on the day of the course, if you have a medical condition that Transport aren't aware of a medical must be done BEFORE the course!

Please call us if you have a medical condition to discuss if you need a medical prior to starting the course.

Eyesight and medical tests if required must be done using the Department of Transport Forms - please see the 'Useful Links' box to the right for a copy.

For the practical, sun protection such as long sleeves, sunglasses and a hat are recommended.  Non marking footwear is useful to avoid hot surfaces. Water and sun cream are supplied on board although you are welcome to bring your own. Please dress appropiately as it may be cool and windy.

Please bring payment on the day, cash or cheque made out to Skippers Ticket Training WA.
